Not only the Asian manufacturers are paying attention to the demand for classic clamshell phones in China and other countries in the region, where such devices are still popular. For example, the Dutch company Philips is also going to release its own clamshell with good features and running Android. While not yet announced, the device has passed certification in TENAA China Telecom Commission. A device called Philips V800 will get the classic form factor clamshell with two identical displays — external and internal parties.
